About
Virginia is responsible for financial and tax reporting, audit compliance and managing administrative systems.
Before joining TSG Consumer Partners, Virginia worked as a Vice President in the private equity partners group of Merrill Lynch Investment Managers/BlackRock. Prior to that, she worked at Goldman Sachs in the hedge fund group and private equity fund controller's group. Virginia began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers where she performed financial due diligence in M&A transactions. She received a BS degree in Accounting and International Business, cum laude, from New York University. She is a NYS Certified Public Accountant.

What was the first job you had?
PwC, transaction services team.
What attracted you to TSG?
The firm’s success and stability. Now that I’ve been working here for a long time, the sense of family.
What makes TSG different than other places you’ve worked?
Prior to working at TSG, I always worked at big firms, so the lack of bureaucracy at a small firm was a refreshing change.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Try to look at things from others’ perspectives, not just your own.
There is a lot of competition in the private equity world. What has that competition taught you and how has it made you better at your job?
Always do your best, focus, and work well with others. Being a team player is an important quality.
What brings you the most joy in your job?
Working with such a smart and welcoming team.
