Q&A

What was the first job you had?

Amongst the first official roles I played were selling knives ‘door to door’ with Cutco, and managing the host stand at the Black Angus (a steak restaurant chain).

If you were to start your own business, what would it be and why?

My husband and I have talked about starting a food truck or small brick and mortar restaurant as a ‘plan C’ – he’d be the chef, I plan the menus and mix the drinks.  I’ll admit this is more likely a personal retirement plan than a credible business venture.

What is your greatest accomplishment?

Creating three amazing children, who keep me on my toes and provide growth and stretch opportunities each day.

What attracted you to TSG?

The people are exceptional here – sharp yet down to earth.  It doesn’t hurt to work with amazing, brand-led businesses and focus on growth.

What brings you the most joy in your job?

Being in the ‘moments that matter’ with colleagues – and helping coach an individual through something tough and watch them come out the other side.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Stay calm.
