TSG Promotes Alec Barnett, Sam Pritzker And James Zelnick To Vice President

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – January 13, 2020 – TSG Consumer Partners (“TSG”), a leading private equity firm focused exclusively on the branded consumer sector, today announced that it has promoted Alec Barnett, Sam Pritzker and James Zelnick to Vice President. Mr. Barnett, Mr. Pritzker and Mr. Zelnick are based in New York, London and San Francisco respectively, and will continue to focus on the due diligence of new investments and supporting the growth of TSG’s partner companies.

Since joining TSG in 2016, Mr. Barnett has worked with partner companies including Power Stop, Pabst Brewing Company, and REVOLVE, among others. Before joining TSG, Alec was an investment banker at J.P. Morgan, where he advised consumer products and retail clients on a variety of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, as well as debt and equity financings. Alec graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Finance and Public Relations from Syracuse University.

Mr. Pritzker joined TSG in 2016 and has worked with HUDA Beauty, Canyon Bicycles, and REVOLUTION Beauty. Prior to joining TSG, Sam was an investment banker at J.P. Morgan, where he advised clients on complex debt financings and restructurings. Sam received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and French with Distinction from Amherst College.

Mr. Zelnick has been a part of TSG since 2018 and is involved with partner companies Hempz and Duckhorn Wine Company. Prior to joining TSG, James worked at FFL Partners, where he invested in middle-market companies across a variety of industries. Prior to FFL, James worked at Bain & Company, where he advised clients in the consumer, industrials, and technology industries. James graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. and Master’s degree in Accounting.
