About
Kim works with our partner companies and is involved in the due diligence of our investments. Prior to joining TSG, Kim worked at Bain & Company, where she advised private equity, consumer, and industrial clients. In addition, she spent several months working at Harry's on the Ventures team, developing new brands. Kim graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a Bachelor in Business Administration.

What was the first job you had?
I was a figure skating instructor for children ranging from 5-10 years old. It was incredibly rewarding to see the skaters evolve from being terrified of leaving the edge of the rink to gaining confidence to trust themselves. It taught me the value of perseverance, empathy, and patience.
What attracted you to TSG?
I have always been drawn to innovative consumer brands with compelling stories, so I knew I wanted to be at a place that was at the forefront of investing and partnering with high growth brands in this space. TSG has an incredible team dedicated to true partnership with entrepreneurs and building brands - that coupled with an interesting portfolio made TSG a great fit.
What brings you the most joy in your job?
I love hearing the stories behind brands and testing out new products - the most interesting part of this job is learning every detail about a given industry and how trends shape the products that end up on the shelf. It's inspiring to see the vision and grit of entrepreneurs come to fruition and positively impact the consumer experience.
