Ms. Duran joins TSG from Deloitte, LLP where she was a leader in the firm’s private equity practice serving many of Deloitte’s west coast private equity clients. While with Deloitte, she served in the M&A practice and was a Tax Partner in the Business Tax Services group. She also spent five years at AMB, a publicly traded company with private capital funds.

What was the first job you had?
At 14, I got a job making sandwiches and learned everything about cheese at a Berkeley specialty cheese store.
What attracted you to TSG?
While serving TSG as a partner at Deloitte I was continually impressed by TSG's ability to make brilliant and forward looking decisions. The prospect of working with an acknowledged industry leader struck me as challenging and exciting.
If you were to start your own business, what would it be and why?
I've often thought I'd like to have a five star omelette food truck.
What is your greatest accomplishment?
That's easy - my two daughters take the prize and I am humbled and grateful to be their mom every day.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Carpe Diem.
How would you describe your working style?
I believe in aiming high and hitting the mark.
What are your greatest sources of inspiration?
I've been lucky enough to have inspiring mentors, including my mother and grandmother, who managed to succeed in spite of the obstacles characteristic of the eras during which they worked.
