Founded in 1977 and headquartered in London, Cadogan Tate is an international premium storage, moving and shipping group specializing in fine art and other valuable possessions. The company currently operates in London, Paris, Côte d’ Azur, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, and Chicago. Christie’s auction house was the company’s first customer, and Cadogan Tate has now established an extensive blue-chip client base, which includes individuals, art galleries, museums, interior designers, and auction houses, off the back of their industry-leading reputation and high-level of client referrals. Cadogan Tate has rapidly grown in recent years, as a result of successful entries into new markets as well as excellent levels of organic growth in their existing markets.

Our Partnership

 

TSG had been interested in the moving and storage industry for a number of years but had typically found low levels of customer satisfaction and brand loyalty in the category. We found the opposite was true with Cadogan Tate, who had built an outstanding reputation over 45 years through a relentless focus on customer service. Following successful expansion into major cities in the US and France, we saw an opportunity to build a global brand in the premium moving and storage industry. We are excited to partner with the Cadogan Tate team, as they continue to grow the business by deepening their penetration in existing markets, launching in new geographies, and entering adjacent categories, with “everything, handled with care.”

We are leveraging TSG’s full suite of digital capabilities to drive a range of initiatives that will improve customer experience, and enhance the company’s marketing capabilities whilst also driving operational excellence. Cadogan Tate has not historically relied on consumer marketing, but TSG is supporting the team on brand development and marketing strategy, to increase brand awareness and loyalty. We are also working closely with management on building the team and accelerating geographic expansion through accretive acquisitions and de novo expansion.
