Retention Marketing Strategist
Tiffany consults with TSG partner companies on consumer experience, marketing and content strategies, eCommerce and loyalty. She brings two decades of experience in retail, advertising and eCommerce to advise our partners.
Most notably, Tiffany led Sephora’s retention marketing and site content experiences, as well as helped define and launch their successful loyalty program, Beauty Insider. Tiffany graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in East Asian Studies and a B.A. in International Relations with a minor in Economics.
What are your greatest sources of inspiration?
My family…My mom for demonstrating that creativity and problem solving cannot be learned from books. My dad for sharing the beauty of logic and geometry proofs.
How would you describe your working style?
I’m a collaborative partner from start to finish and I love to share ideas and challenges. While I look to industry best practices and what my experiences have taught me, I’m also a huge believer in trusting your instinct.
How do you build trust with entrepreneurs you’ve just started to work with?
I openly admit that I will never know your business and your customers as well as you do. My role is to help articulate your instincts into clear business strategies and realistic action plans. I gained my broad range of expertise by rolling up my sleeves and doing it myself. I’ve held different positions at different levels, which helps me relate to the people on your team. I’ve been in a position where my role has changed. I’ve been at a company that has gone through massive shifts. I’m not here to take anybody’s job; I’m here to help make their job easier and more effective.
