Margo advises TSG partner companies on digital strategy and user experience design.
Margo draws on 20 years of corporate and ad agency experience to create high-quality digital experiences for our partners. She has played an integral role in designing digital user experiences for some of the biggest consumer brands, including Uniqlo, Sephora, Restoration Hardware, Gap, Walmart, Kohl’s, Visa and Audi. Margo graduated from St. Olaf College with a B.A. in Studio Art and English Literature.
What attracted you to TSG?
I loved the idea of working for a firm that’s so passionate about building brands, and is so uniquely poised to make a meaningful impact on the growth of a company by providing them the tools and capital to achieve their goals. As someone with a digital design background, I could see where I could add value to the firm, and learn so much in return!
How has TSG’s culture helped drive the firm’s success?
TSG’s culture is one of collaboration and great attention to detail. The work ethic and standard of excellence everyone strives for is unbelievable, and I think that combination undoubtedly leads to success. It’s a great formula that we also see in the entrepreneurs we partner with as well.
What have you learned from working with entrepreneurs?
I have learned so much from entrepreneurs I have had the honor of working with. Every single one has built their brands with their bare hands, with grit and perseverance I have not witnessed before in my career. Most don’t seem to care that they don’t have all the answers, but all have a strong vision for where their company needs to be, and they aren’t afraid to ask for help. That’s why they partner with us, they understand TSG can help them get there.
